Hayley Sawyer, 28, and Ashleigh Keith, 27, appeared in custody in the Mount Isa Magistrate’s Court on Monday and Tuesday.
They pleaded guilty to bringing stolen goods into Queensland, stealing, unlawful possession of suspected stolen goods, and the possession of drug utensils.
Sawyer and Keith each received suspended imprisonment sentences, which means they could be imprisoned for three months if they breach the orders, and were each given a $400 fine.
They were each ordered to pay $45 compensation to the Camooweal Roadhouse in compensation for stealing petrol valued at $90.
Keith was also charged with speeding, and driving a car which was in an unsafe condition.
She was fined $1062 for speeding, had her licence suspended six months, and was fined another $227 for driving a vehicle in an unsafe condition.
Keith and Sawyer breached an existing good behaviour bond when they committed these crimes, which was set when they appeared in the Mount Isa Magistrates Court in August for similar offences.
