Presented by Holland Street Productions, Point & Shoot is set in 2042 and follows a frenzied storyline about a group of idealists trying to make a movie. In fact, their flick is to resemble something from the 2014 film industry, which in the future is non-existent. The plot is too complicated to explain, but rest assured it contains twists, costume changes, songs and musical effects.

Point & Shoot had a tiny cast and they achieved a lot. All four actors need to be commended on their commitment to characterisation. Their enthusiasm and dedication to portraying over 50 roles ensured for a seamless production.  At times it felt like organised chaos as each person transitioned between instrument and prop with ease.

Erin Hutchinson delivered the stand out performance. She really showed her diversity in acting, using every muscle in her body to portray an emotion. It really was a pleasure to watch her light up the stage. Special mention also to the writers Robert Woods and Tyler Jacob Jones for their new age musical that was funny, energetic and whimsical.

At times, pace was inconsistent and lost the attention of the audience, but the next scene was there ready to draw them back in. There were a lot of elements to this production, which explains the fact it wasn't as polished as it could be. That being said, these are only minor criticisms in what was a firecracker production.
