The result is Red Bull Flying Bach, a captivating mix of the classical and urban worlds, featuring German dance company Flying Steps.
Gengis Ademoski joined in 2007 at the tender age of 16, but the company was founded in Berlin in 1993.
"Many people have gone in and out over the years," he said.
"In Flying Steps we are more than 30 people, because everything has grown so big."
Flying Bach features eight of those dancers, who demonstrate their extraordinary skill and synchronicity while accompanied by live and remixed Bach works.
"My dance style is more the power move, I do more of the acrobatic stuff and freezes," Ademoski said.
Artistic director Christoph Hagel said it was a creative match made in heaven.
"The sharpness, freshness and coolness of Bach's preludes and fugues work faultlessly with the dance style of the Flying Steps," he said.
"When this type of breakdances comes together with the sound of piano and harpsichord, the incredible masterpieces of Bach are brought to life and made relevant for a modern audience."
With hundreds of performances under his belt, Ademoski said he was able to shake off most of the nerves before a show.
"Since I was 10 years old I wanted to travel, dance and entertain people," he said.
"When I'm dancing on stage and I see they like some of my movements, it gives me energy."
Red Bull Flying Bach plays at the Concert Hall, QPAC, from September 25-26. Tickets start at $69.90 and are available online.
