Queensland bikies are channelling Ned Kelly and Eureka rebellion hero Peter Lalor in a bid to raise money for their campaign against the state's anti-establishment laws.

Having already spent about $1 million on their High Court challenge against the Newman Goverment's VLAD and anti-bikie legislation, the United Motorcycle Council still needs to find a further $200,000 to pay their lawyers.
Last month the UMC collected $24,350 from the auction of two motorcycles with VLAD-themed paint jobs.
UMC Queensland president Mick Kosenko spent two weeks airbrushing the Harley-Davidson 2006 FLHX and a 2014-model Hunter Bobber.
"The front of the Harley has the VLAD in stone with the scales of justice. The woman is smashing it with a sword releasing Ned Kelly, who's been chained. And then the word freedom above is that with rays of light shining over the freedom," Mr Kosenko said.
Other sections of the Harley include skulls wearing Southern Cross bandanas, a wedge-tailed eagle and Ned Kelly's final words "such is life".
"The whole paint job was about freedom. You need to look at Ned Kelly and Lalor, they were both targeted by the government in a similar way to how we have," Mr Kosenko said.
The Harley-Davidson had clocked up about 70,000 kilometres while the Hunter Bobber is all but brand new. Both were donated by motorcycle dealers.
Mr Kosenko said the winning bidder wanted their identity to remain a secret.
"I think the problem with the bikes is a lot of people think the police would target them for showing that sign of rebellion. I think it's all being kept under wraps to see if we have a win in the High Court," he said.
A decision from the High Court is expected around Christmas.
The United Motorcycle Council is challenging 12 pieces of legislation, including laws which ban club members gathering in public in groups of three or more and lengthier jail sentences for bikies found guilty in court.
Solicitors-general from the Commonwealth, NSW, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory are also in favour of Queensland's laws and are likely to introduce local versions should the bikies' challenge fail.
The Queensland legislation was introduced last year after the notorious Broadbeach brawl involving dozens of bikies outside a Gold Coast restaurant.
