A Birkdale man, charged with attempted murder over a balcony fall in Brisbane's CBD last month, has been granted bail.

Jace Burns, 28, is expected to be released from custody on a $10,000 surety, after fronting Cleveland Magistrates Court on Thursday.
He was arrested on Saturday over an alleged September 14 attack on 28-year-old Phillip Koklas, who fell about 30 metres from the balcony of an Upper Roma Street apartment.
Mr Burns was charged with attempted murder, kidnapping, accessory after the fact, grievous bodily harm and two counts of burglary.
In his bail application, Mr Burns' defence solicitor argued the accessory-after-the-fact charge was the strongest against his client.
He said the police case indicated Mr Burns was not directly involved in the alleged assault or burglary, which lessened the case against bail.
Mr Kennedy approved bail on the condition Mr Burns report regularly to Cleveland Police Station and not approach the victim or his co-accused.
He is next due to face court on December 4.
A 36-year-old man has also been charged over the incident.
