Despite a comeback led by Home Boiz’s Ashley Williamson, the Blazers held their nerve to secure the win.
Blazers forward John Dempsey top scored for the victors with 10 points, while Home Boiz’s Paul Scarsi had 12.
Pandamonium A’s Theon Raffaldi and Brendan Parker led their side to a hard-fought 33-23 win against Sonic Boom.
Sonic Boom’s guards Jericho Young (eight points) and Josh McCrae (14) wasn’t enough to secure the win.
In the Mitech men’s B grade, Celtics recorded 30 points to defeat Pandamonium B 30-18.
A dominant four-quarter display by Celtics forward Peter Baker (12 points) sealed the result.
Reece flexed their muscle against Blazers B, with Kris Greenhalgh (8 points), Myles Turnham (6 points) and Alex Weller (6 points) leading the way in the 40-24 win.
In the final match, P.Pride had too much firepower for Manila in a match that went down to the final minute.
A last gasp lay-up to P.Pride sealed the 44-42 win.
