The 22-year-old Dustin Martin was last seen more than two weeks ago at a Normanton address.
Detective Senior Sergeant Guy Harvey from Mount Isa Criminal Investigation Branch and a team of Mount Isa Police officers have headed to the Gulf town to to help conduct investigations.
Detective Senior Sergeant Harvey said they are interviewing people but have no updates.
“The investigation to date has failed to identify any updates,” he said.
“Were interviewing all of his work colleages to see who can assist.”
“There may be future land searches to locate him.”
Mr Martin is described as being Caucasian, approximately 178cm tall with a slight build, olive complexion, brown hair, brown eyes and was last seen on Saturday, October 4 at an address on Old Croydon Road.
