Spring-heeled defender Hardingham was one of three players delisted by the Bombers on Wednesday, joining untested defender Sean Gregory and rookie Johnny Rayner on the scrap heap.

Hardingham's management firm SMA Sports Agents had earlier in the month revealed to Fairfax Media that its client had been worn down by the ongoing supplements saga, and wanted a trade. None was forthcoming though, so Hardingham had to be cut.

"Kyle Hardingham is seeking to be traded. He is keen to explore greater opportunities and has advised James Hird and the club's management of this. Kyle is looking for stability. The issues surrounding the club at the moment have worn him down," the statement had said.

It is understood Hardingham is one of the 34 players who was last Friday issued with an amended show-cause notice by the Australian Sports Anti-doping Authority.

Hardingham, 26, has played 65 games over five years at the Bombers, but his opportunities have been limited in the past two years - playing just eight games in both 2013 and 2014.

Small forward Leroy Jetta has also been formally delisted, after last month leaving the club to seek a fresh start.

Jetta played 93 games over eight seasons at the club, but just two in 2014.

Youngster Elliot Kavanagh had sought a trade, but contracted for 2015, he will remain at the club after a deal could not be reached.

Rookie Cory Dell'Olio is another Bomber whose future at the club remains unclear.
