Fire crews and paramedics spent about an hour trying to free the woman from the sedan which crashed on the corner of Turpin Road and Robert Street in Labrador about 10.20am.
She was taken to hospital in a serious condition with a fractured arm and possibly fractured pelvis.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency spokesman said crews used hydraulic equipment to free the woman.
Police said two vehicles were involved in the crash and that two others were taken to hospital.
Following inital reports that an elderly man had an injured leg, it later emerged that the two other injured people were females.
Both were stable when taken to hospital.
