Two men have been arrested over an alleged machete attack which left a Gold Coast woman with cuts to her wrist and several teeth knocked out, according to police

The 24-year-old is recovering in hospital after seeking refuge at a service station at the corner of Hooker and Sunshine boulevards at Broadbeach Waters on Thursday morning.
An 18-year-old woman also suffered minor injuries.
Police said a fight broke out at a house on nearby Holland Court about 4.30am between the two women and two men.
A car parked outside the house was also damaged, with the windscreen smashed and a tyre deflated.
After initial reports of three men being involved in the alleged attack, police later said it appeared there was only two men.
An 18-year-old and 19-year-old man have been arrested but are yet to face charges.
Police said investigations were continuing.
