The first match at 6.30pm will see the Lions and Bears do battle in the A reserve men’s grand final.
This match pits the experience of the Lions against the youth of the Bears, who will be looking to exploit their speed and fitness advantage.
The Lions will be counting on key players Lewis Mothe, Gavin Bunny, Matt Harvey, Kyle Wolf and Troy Fraser, while the Bears will be led by Shane Howie, Shayden Kerekere.
In the B ladies’ final, also at 6.30pm, LOL Bears will head in as favourites against Jays, with more experience on their side.
Bears duo Lisa Parker and Chontelle George will be counted on to ensure their side continues to ruck hard and is fast out of acting half.
Jays will need Jacqui Keily and Khrystal Santos to have strong games in the season’s decider.
The final game at 6.30pm will be the B men’s final, contested between Good Shepherd and Redskins B.
This match is sure to produce tries, with the Redskins combining youth and experience in their side, while GSCC has developed strong combinations after playing together all season.
The students from GSCC will need Jack Reddicliffe, Jack Maye and Clayton Fenton to fire, while Scott Kyle, Luke Maye and Darcy Ryder are keys for the Redskins.
The A ladies’ grade match is slated for 7.30pm, with the Pink Panthers strong favourites in this clash, being the most consistent side all season.
The Orioles will look to tighten up their ruck defence and contain the acting half running the ball.
The Panthers have plenty of attacking weapons such as Tara O’Brien, Eryan Haddon and Ashleigh Burke, as do Orioles with Robin Jakeman, Amy Dredge and Emma Johnstone.
The night will culminate at 8.30pm with the feature match of the night between Maulers Black and Redskins A in the A men’s final.
This is sure to be a fast match, as both teams have strong ball work and speed to burn. The match may be decided from acting half and whichever team can control their opponent.
Brayden Fai Fai and Kale Johnson are the keys for Maulers, while Darren Reddicliffe and Mark Hartley will be counted on to lead the Redskins.
