A 34-year-old Bundaberg man, Shane Anthony Eric Hansen, briefly faced the Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Friday.

The case has been transferred to Brisbane where Mr Hansen is expected to return to court on November 5.

Police believe Mr Hansen was one of three people responsible for Mr Britza's death in a Gold Coast panel beating workshop on March 23, 2001.

In 2008, Mr Britza's bones were found under a bridge at Biddadaba Road in Boyland, west of Tamborine Mountain, when his hidden grave was disturbed by heavy rains.

The remains were found in a blue tarp by two fishermen.

Investigators were able to make a breakthrough in the case when they retrieved data from a sim card found in Mr Britza's pocket.

They also used laser technology to search for blood stains in a Southport workshop linked to the Finks bikie club.

In May this year, 40-year-old Jade Marie Clarke was jailed for life when she was found guilty of Mr Britza's murder in the Brisbane Supreme Court.

Ms Clarke has lodged an appeal.

Another co-accused, Dean Mark Wills, will go on trial for the murder Mr Britza on February 9 next year.
