On Friday, the Crime and Corruption Commission charged the 39-year-old Kuraby woman with two counts of fraud, two counts of attempted fraud and two counts of general dishonesty.
She is expected to face the Brisbane Magistrates Court on November 6.
The CCC said the investigation was continuing and more charges were expected.
"As the investigation is ongoing, and this matter is now before the court, the CCC will not comment further," the CCC said in a statement.
