Crews responded to a motorcycle accident 40 kilometres south of Mount Isa yesterday afternoon after a man was thrown from his bike after hitting a creek embankment at high speed. The 50-year-old male was transported to the Mount Isa Hospital in a serious but stable condition with suspected chest and pelvic injuries.
On Saturday, crews responded to a single-vehicle accident about 50 kilometres north of Mount Isa on the Barkly Highway.
A 19-year-old man was taken to the Mount Isa Hospital in a stable condition with suspected head, neck and spinal injuries.
On Friday, crews responded to a single-vehicle accident about 242 kilometres north-east of Mount Isa.
Two people at the scene had chest and internal injuries.
The rescue crew transported a 62-year-old female to Mount Isa Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The second person was transported from the scene by the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
