The initial damages of the Brisbane Magistrates Court flooding last month were valued at approximately $110,000, Attorney-General and Minister for Justice Mr Jarrod Bleijie said.

However, the entire cost of the damages to the building is 'not yet finalised' according to Mr Bleijie.
The Brisbane Magistrates Court was evacuated after the building flooded on Tuesday morning of October 7.
Mr Bleijie said the funds to repair the damage will be in addition to the Queensland Governments $27.1 million project to revitalise courthouses across Queensland which began in March 2012.
The Brisbane Magistrates Court computer system logged an alert at 12:06pm as 'loss of power'.
Six hours later, the problem was identified as a water leak by BMC staff at 6:12am.
Ten courts with 217 defendants and respondents were scheduled to appear in relation to criminal and civil matters that day and a business continuity response was implemented to ensure disruptions to court proceedings were minimal.
Part of the response included the Domestic Violence and Childrens Courts relocating temporarily to the Supreme and District Court precinct.
The response also included the Committal Callover relocating to the Arrest Courts in Roma Street
Special Hardship orders were also dealt with in a temporary position outside the building.
