Moving a body will bring more jail time, the Supreme Court will be able to throw out 'vexatious' proceedings without bringing in the complainant and criminals who hurt themselves while committing an offence will not be able to sue under a raft of new laws introduced by the government overnight.

Attorney-General Jarrod Bleijie finished the year the way he started it - by submitting a prolific amount of legislation to the Queensland Parliament.
While still short of amending as many acts as his mega-bill, which he introduced and passed earlier this year, the Justice and Other Legislation Amendment Bill strengthens more penalties and sentences, "advances the government's red tape reduction, public sector renewal and regulatory burden agendas" and stops convicted criminals from contacting their victims.
The legislation will also mean that drug dealers that sell a product which kills a customer will face the possibility of an extra six months in jail.
That particular amendment was influenced by the case of Willy Eric Tempelmeier who last year was accused of selling a syringe of morphine to a young man who subsequently died.
Tempelmeier was charged with manslaughter, but the charge was thrown out.
Mr Bleijie, who has almost turned "making Queensland the safest place to raise a family" into a drinking game across George Street he said it so often this year, said his latest bill tied up some loose ends.
The amendment prohibiting criminals from sending contacts correspondence "which is reasonably likely to cause a victim distress or trauma" came about after a rapist sent a letter to his young victim.
Changes to the Coroners Act, to allow inquests to go ahead if a person could be charged with a summary offence following a death, was prompted by the case of Jason Garrels, a 21-year-old who was electrocuted in a workplace accident in central Queensland two years ago.
His father pushed for the changes, after the inquest into his son's death was delayed to allow a court case to finish.
Mr Bleijie has introduced and passed more than 50 bills this year alone.
As with all legislation introduced this week - the last sitting of the year - the committee charged with reviewing it must report back by February 2.
Parliament has been scheduled for February and March sittings next year, but government MPs are split on whether it will resume before the next election.
