Board member for the service, Sophie Keily, thanked Lady Loretta general manager Bryant Schwengler for recent financial support when she toured the mine on Wednesday.
Ms Keily was one of 15 visitors to tour the site as part of the first Neighbours Day tour.
She said the support would carry the service through the remainder of the year in an announcement to other visitors and Lady Loretta employees.
The service will struggle further financially next year and it was not government funded, she said.
Lady Loretta’s installed helicopter pad was also “one of the first to be built in a mine site”, she said.
Ms Keily travelled two hours to Lady Loretta by bus so she could thank Mr Schwengler in person.
Mr Schwengler said; “It’s certainly a great service guys.
“We have to get behind it.”
A Glencore spokesperson said the company donated $100,000 per annum through a three-year partnership.
