The 18-month-old Staffordshire cross - named Linc - was taken around 1pm on Sunday from an address on Tahiti Avenue.

The dog is chocolate brown and was wearing a black collar with white studs at the time of his disappearance.

Aside from his distinctive choice of tee-shirt, the man was also seen to be wearing thongs and carrying a drink around the time of the theft.

Police are asking for anyone who recognises the man depicted in the footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
