The driver of the truck, believed to be a man in his 60s, has been taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious injuries.
Police said around 11am a truck travelling on an overpass on the Logan Motorway, near the entrance to the Pacific Motorway, crashed into guardrails.
The crash left part of the truck hanging over the edge of the overpass.
