A violent Gold Coast robbery allegedly carried out by a group of teenage girls was caught on camera by the city's CCTV network.

Two women aged 21 and 23 were waiting at traffic lights at the intersection of Cavill Avenue and Surfers Paradise Boulevard about 5am Monday when they were approached by four females.
One grabbed a mobile phone from one of the women, and when she followed asking for it back, she was pulled to the ground by a second female.
Both women were then punched in the face, before the group of teenagers walked away towards Beach Road.
The incident was seen by staff monitoring the Gold Coast City Safety network, who were able to alert police to pick up the offenders.
Detectives from the Child Protection and Investigation Unit have charged an 18-year-old woman from Mt Gravatt with robbery in company.
She will face the Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Two girls, aged 15 and 16, were charged with robbery in company, with another 15-year-old girl charged with robbery in company and assault occasioning bodily harm.
