The Queensland under-19 men’s team made it through to the preliminary final of the January 6-10 tournament in Blacktown, New South Wales, where it was beaten 7-4 by a powerful ACT side and had to settle for third.
In the lead-up to the preliminary final, Cleary, Nilsson and their teammates had won seven of their nine matches.
Nilsson was named as Outfielder in the 2015 All-Tournament Team.
