The Thuwathu (Rainbow Serpent) Dancer on one side and on the other is Marnbil, Djual Djual and Djin Djin, the creation beings of Mornington Island.
Artist Ash Johnstone, who runs the famous Open Studio in Coffs Harbour, was recently commissioned to give the town a facelift.
The murals were funded through Mornington Shire Council and the Graffiti Stop Program.
Johnstone asked local indigenous children to be a part of his interactive art techniques.
Mornington Shire Council chief executive Frank Mills praised the new look.
“Such creativity in old concreted urban settings can inspire and educate,” he said when the first murals were completed.
