Last October police seized 200 grams of the drug, worth about $80,000, from another man.

Detective Inspector Scott Knowles said forensic officers had worked hard since then to identify the supplier.

"This arrest highlights the continuing focus of the Queensland Police Service and Crime and Corruption Commission on those individuals and criminal syndicates who focus their trafficking dangerous drugs on the Gold Coast," he said.

"This investigation remains ongoing with further arrests expected."

A 49-year-old Mermaid Waters is due to face Southport Magistrates Court on February 6 charged with supplying and possession of a dangerous drug.

In a unrelated raid on a Mackay home, police have seized drugs and stolen property worth about $150,000.

Officers searched the Andergrove property on Tuesday morning, allegedly uncovering a motorcycle, jet-ski, tools, guns, ammunition and fireworks.

A 27-year-old Andergrove man was charged with several drug and property offences, and will face Mackay Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Police investigations are continuing.
