Jobs, jobs, jobs continue to the be the basis of the Queensland Opposition's campaign policy, with Labor seeking to highlight the government's record on unemployment rather than its own economic policy.

Labor released its economic policy on Friday and has spent the days since in a "their blackhole is bigger than ours" argument with the government.

The LNP has been attacking the Opposition over its plan to "quarantine" $1.3 billion in government-owned corporation revenue for debt pay down - money Treasurer Tim Nicholls said would have already been spent as part of consolidated government revenue.

In turn, shadow treasurer Curtis Pitt has attacked the government over its plan to lease the GOCs, meaning their $2 billion in revenue will be lost to the state.

The Opposition said it would fill its revenue blackhole through growth, while the government said it was relying on savings from interest following its debt pay-downs to do the same thing.

While the echo chamber argument continues to circle, Ms Palaszczuk has preferred to talk jobs rather than the economy, dedicating just two lines to it in her nine-page campaign launch speech on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, she defended her stance.

"When I talk about jobs I am talking about growing the economy," she said.

"You talk to anyone walking down the street. The measure of how the economy is going is whether or not you have a job.

"I outlined our plans to grow the economy and get people into jobs and it starts with TAFE.

"Our Advance Queensland policy is about growing innovation and getting the best and brightest minds here in Queensland and attracting them from overseas.

"That will then flow on to create jobs. Campbell Newman's track record is not jobs.

"He has cut frontline services. When you cut frontline services and you rip 24,000 jobs out of the  economy, it slows the economy right down. We are passionate about jobs.

"I will continue to talk about jobs because jobs are good for the economy."
