The LNP will take a breather from campaigning in undecided electorates in order to host a $250 a head chat to the party faithful.
An invitation for the "2015 Queensland STATE CAMPAIGN LUNCH" recently went out to LNP supporters, offering them the chance to listen to Premier Campbell Newman "detail the LNP's plan to keep making Queensland stronger" for $250 each or $2000 a table.
None of those donations will need to be declared under the changes to the state's declaration laws, which lifted the threshold from $1000 to the federal indexed limit, which is currently $12,800.
Labor is also holding a fundraising lunch, which Opposition Leader Annastacia Palaszczuk previously said had been organised before the election.
Labor has come under fire for following the LNP's lead in organising subscription based fundraisers, but Ms Palaszczuk said it was different because Labor still declared every donation over $1000.
A spokesman said Ms Palaszczuk would not attend the Wednesday Labor event.
"She is too busy on the campaign trail," he said.
Both parties are expected to deliver costings for their election promises this week and will debate each other the day before the election.
