Hawthorn have named 13 members of their 2014 premiership team in a 29-man squad picked for Thursday night's NAB Challenge opener against Collingwood in Launceston.

Despite only a day earlier flagging that they would rest many of their stars, the Hawks' squad features the likes of Jarryd Roughead, Jordan Lewis, Sam Mitchell and Josh Gibson, as well as recruit James Frawley - acquired from Melbourne as a free agent in October.
Luke Hodge, Brian Lake and Cyril Rioli are among those who will not be making the trip.
Collingwood have named traded-in trio Levi Greenwood, Travis Varcoe and Jack Crisp, as well as No. 5 draft pick Jordan De Goey. Father-son selection Darcy Moore will mss the game as he recovers from a toe injury.
The squads will be trimmed to 26 players on match day.
