The first round of competition for the Mount Isa Go Kart Club was held at Lagoon Park raceway with new engines, new classes and competitors ensuring high-quality action on the track.
Allisa Sidnell took out the Junior Clubman category, from Anthony Rowsell (second) and Alex Etherington (third).
In Cadet 12, Tara Sidnell prevailed from Alecia Robinson, while Rhys Bond took out Cadet 9 class.
Simon Mears took out the Sportsman Heavy from Scott Geary and Paul Malouf.
Allisa Sidnell also took out the Junior National Light class, from Rowsell.
Rowsell landed victory in the Junior National Heavy category, while Matthew Whitehead won the Tag 125 Light class from Thomas Glasson.
Mark Bond beat Michael Shearer in the Tag 125 Heavy.
