The three young daughters of slain Brookfield woman Allison Baden-Clay remain unable to access their mother's two life insurance policies while their father exhausts his legal avenues to attempt to overturn his murder conviction.

Federal Court Justice Andrew Greenwood ordered the release of the second of Mrs Baden-Clay's life insurance policies on Thursday, which the court had held in trust since early 2013.
The dual policies have a combined total value of nearly $800,000.
The court froze the funds pending the outcome of a murder charge laid against her husband, Gerard Baden-Clay.
The first was released in August last year.
But her daughters will not be able to access the money until their father exhausts his legal avenues to appeal his conviction over his wife's murder.
Further, if successful in his bid to have his conviction overturned in the Queensland Court of Appeal this year, Mr Baden-Clay, who was named as sole beneficiary, would be able to make a claim for the funds.
Mrs Baden-Clay's body was found under the Kholo Creek Bridge 11 days after her husband reported her missing in April 2012.
At the time she had one life insurance policy with Suncorp valued at $350,000 and a second, with insurer TAL Life Limited, valued at $412,267.

Mrs Baden-Clay's father, the executor of her estate, made the application to freeze the funds.
It came after Mr Baden-Clay had been charged with his wife's murder but before he had fronted court for a pre-trial hearing.
A jury convicted the former prestige real estate agent of Mrs Baden-Clay's murder in July last year after a six week trial.
On Thursday, Justice Greenwood ordered the insurance policy funds to be released to a trust account at law firm HopgoodGanim, who act for Mrs Baden-Clay's parents, Geoffrey and Priscilla Dickie.
The funds will remain inaccessible until Mr Baden-Clay's appeal has been heard.
Mr and Mrs Dickie have cared for their three granddaughters since their son-in-law's arrest in May 2013.
They are continuing to contest his claim to both insurance policies.
Mr Dickie won control of his late daughter's estate in September 2012 after producing evidence that Mr Baden-Clay had arranged, from his prison cell, the sale of a Paradise Point home owned by he and his wife.
Mr Baden-Clay continues to maintain he is innocent of his wife's murder.
An appeal date for his conviction is yet to be set.
