Melbourne have named seven new faces in a 29-man squad ahead of their NAB Challenge clash with the Dockers at Fremantle Oval on Thursday night.

Demons fans could catch their first glimpse of off-season recruits Heritier Lumumba, Jeff Garlett, Sam Frost and Ben Newton as well as boom youngster Jesse Hogan and father-son selection Billy Stretch.
Aaron Vandenberg, who was picked up in the 2015 rookie draft, has also been named in Melbourne's squad.
The Dees will be close to full strength against Fremantle with only Bernie Vince (hamstring), Jeremy Howe (hamstring), Dean Terlich, Jack Fitzpatrick and Jack Trengove (foot) sitting out the match.
Melbourne coach Paul Roos said it was his intention to play his best 22 as often as possible throughout the pre-season.
"We've got to pick our best team available, it's a real opportunity for us to now start playing and start implementing some things ... and getting it out there as soon as we can," Roos said.
The Dockers might showcase some new talent, too, with their second pick from last year's draft Connor Blakely, rookie-listed Tanner Smith and untried 2013 draftee Brady Grey all named in their squad to face Melbourne.
But Freo will be missing quite a bit of fire power with Nat Fyfe (hamstring), Ryan Crowley, Aaron Sandilands, Garrick Ibbotson, Danyle Pearce, Zac Dawson (groin) and Anthony Morabito (knee) all absent.
