Police were called to Wildwood Court in Bundall around 5am, where they found a 40-year-old man lying in the street.
He had suffered a stab wound to his shoulder and chest. The 29-year-old woman was with him.
It's alleged they had earlier entered a house in the street and were involved in a disturbance.
A 39-year-old male resident of the house suffered a head injury.
It's believed they were all known to each other.
After being questioned by detectives, the Bundall woman was charged with entering a dwelling with the intent to commit and indictable offence, and assault occasioning bodily harm in company
She will appear in Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Investigations are continuing.
The 40-year-old man remains in a serious condition in the Gold Coast University Hospital.
The 39-year-old man was treated at Robina Hospital and discharged.
