The Justin Bawden-trained galloper destroyed his rivals in the feature event at the St Patrick’s Races winning the Open Handicap sprint (1100m).
The chestnut gelding was sent out as $1.80 favourite and scored by nearly five-and-a-half lengths, securing its second consecutive victory after returning from a three-month spell.
It was Carry Me’s second consecutive triumph by more than five lengths after a similar win a fortnight ago at Buchanan Park.
Jockey Shaun Mossman said Carry Me’s speed to burn is his greatest asset.
“He’s an off-and-go kind of horse and will lead (the race) straight out,” said Mossman.
The opening race of the meet was the 900 metre Class 4 Handicap sprint won by Grant Wiles-trained Power Report ($4.80), ridden by Steven Galvin, who outclassed favourites Mimi’s Rocket and Masterful Play to get over the line first by over two lengths.
Villainous Lass scored for Julia Creek trainer Tanya Parry in the Maiden Plate (1000m), while Too Many Lies took out the Benchmark 55 Handicap (1000m) for trainer Patrick Inwood.
Jockey Tamara Tincknell made it race-to-race double with victory aboard Villanous Lass and Too Many Lies.
The closing race of the day was won by Denise Ballard-trained Hoodoo Guru ($4.80) with husband Keith in the saddle, beating race-favoured runners Firstinbestdressed, Seven Degrees, and Jeteye Warrior.
