English Super League club Hull Kingston Rovers have another big Canberra Raiders player in their sights, targeting former Australian Kangaroos prop David Shillington.

It's understood Hull KR have made direct contact with the Raiders about Shillington's availability and his character, given the 31-year-old comes off contract at the end of the year.
Hull KR may even try to push for a mid-season transfer, given they are desperate to find a replacement for another former Raiders prop, Mick Weyman, who retired last week due to ongoing knee problems.
Shillington's future at the Raiders has appeared on shaky grounds, given he was overlooked for the first two rounds of the NRL season.
He also suffered a broken thumb playing NSW Cup, requiring surgery that will sideline him for up to seven weeks.
The Raiders have shown they are open to mid-season transfers if it will benefit the player involved, releasing utility Matt McIlwrick to join the Sydney Roosters late in the pre-season to give him more opportunity.
Hull KR have appointed former Raiders captain Terry Campese as their skipper this season and have a strong connection with the Raiders.
Former Raiders halfback Michael Dobson was also a former captain of the Robins, while Hull KR released England representative hooker Josh Hodgson to Canberra this season for a big transfer fee.
Fairfax Media reported last week off-contract Shillington is set to finish with the Raiders at the end of the season, with NRL clubs showing interest but the Rovers are reportedly hopeful he could join them in a mid-season transfer.
The Raiders have undergone a major overhaul of their front row with fellow veterans Brett White (retired) and Tom Learoyd-Lahrs (Melbourne) moving on, with youngsters Shannon Boyd and Paul Vaughan handed bigger roles.
