"Things could go bad pretty quickly," says the club director of a Great Southern Football League team who has recruited former West Coast Eagles champion, Daniel Kerr.

"But we are confident it will be all good."
Kerr, 31, appeared in the Perth Magistrates Court on Friday to have his bail conditions altered so he is free to play football for Denmark-Walpole in the Great Southern Football League.
The retired midfielder is waiting to face trial after he allegedly splashed petrol around a Glendalough property in November.
Denmark-Walpole club director Joe Burton said getting the two-time former Brownlow Medal runner-up was a coup and a risk worth taking.
"Definitely," he boasted. "He's a good player. He's had a few problems in the past, but I think a change of environment will help him. It will be a fresh start for him in Denmark."
Mr Burton said he decided to chase up the 2006 premiership player after the club heard rumours he was keen to relocate to Denmark where he owns a property.
"One of the players was at a party overheard he wanted to get out to the country, so the club decided to contact him," he said.
"It was a long process but we knew he had a house down here.
"The discussion we had with him over two weeks was pretty rigid.
"It seems he is a changed man."
Mr Burton is realistic the Kerr coup could sour pretty quickly.
"Things could go bad pretty quickly, but we are confident it will be all good," he said.
Kerr is expected to suit up for his new club on April 19.
In November, Kerr had his bail conditions changed so he could attend two weddings, one in Midland and another in Dunsborough, in which he was in the bridal party.
Kerr made his debut with the Eagles in 2001 - recruited from WAFL club East Fremantle - and was part of the 2006 premiership team before he retired from football at the end of the 2013 season, after a succession of injuries.
Kerr was twice runner-up in the Brownlow Medal and was an All-Australian in 2007 but his career was not without controversy.
In September 2002, he was involved in a brawl with teammate Ben Cousins at Club Bayview during end-of-season celebrations, which left Cousins with a broken arm after he fell down some stairs.
