Pirates vs TBirds: Nil-all made this game one to watch, with both teams unable to get that one goal to secure the win. Both these teams learnt positional play this week and worked well together. Pirates Jack Price and Patric Murphy worked hard for their team. TBirds Amy Maslin, Chanise MacFarlane and Lawson Martyr played a great match.
Hornets vs Aces: This game was a great example of new players taking on a challenge and holding their ground. Well done to both sides of this nil-all draw. Hornets’ best were Josh Parlevliet- Dean, Nathan McGrigor and Jamie Ahearn. Aces goalkeeper Veronica Llloyd-Jones held them out with style and teammates Ben MacNamara and Kody Christie showed huge improvement in their skills.
