WIMAN has been a dream of Mount Isa business woman Eryan Haddon, a partner at Wardles and Associates accountants in Mount Isa.
Mrs Haddon has worked hard for a couple years to build the support and networking group for Mount Isa’s “Women in Motion” – women in business, women in professional positions and the ladies behind our tradies.
With the help of colleagues Jess Kitchin and Tamara Mason, the trio have been working hard to establish the group and build a network of like-minded women - a sisterhood – to learn and support each other in achieving our goals.
The official launch event at the Buffs Club attracted more than 50 women to talk about their dreams, aspirations and hopes of the future.
The ladies all took advantage of the Happy Hour Cocktails, had some delicious nibblies, a couple lucky ladies won some prizes and a lot of fun was had with our Instagram Frame and props.
The plan for the future is to hold more events that assist ladies in all aspects of life ranging from happiness/wellness seminars, networking events such a formal high tea, workshops for health and motivational guest speakers, etc.
Any women who are interested in attending future events, email WIMAN@live.com.au.
