For the second time this month a a Brisbane person has contracted measles, however authorities say the latest case it is not linked to a man diagnosed after attending an NRL game.

On Thursday Queensland Health confirmed a school student in Brisbane's south was displaying measles symptoms and would remain at home during the remaining infectious period.
"Public health staff are continuing to investigate and conduct contact tracing," Metro South Health physician Dr Kari Jarvinen said.
"Parents and staff at the school have been advised of the case and of any required action to minimise spread of the disease."
Measles symptoms, including a fever, cough, runny nose, red spotty rashes and sore eyes, usually begin about seven to 10 days after infection.
Measles outbreaks in Australia are rare due to vaccination, but the contagious virus can cause serious brain inflammation and death if untreated.
Queensland Health said there were no confirmed links between the student and the league fan.
It appears nobody contracted the virus despite the man attending a match at Suncorp Stadium with more than 36,000 fans and attending several restaurants and bars in the days earlier.
Queensland Health encouraged parents to ensure their vaccinations and those of their children were up to date.
