Paramedics were called to Woodridge train station in Logan just before 10am and rushed the man of unknown age to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

A Queensland Ambulance Services spokeswoman said the man had a possible head injury.

A Queensland Rail spokeswoman said train services were initially suspended between Kuraby and Kingston stations on the Beenleigh and Gold Coast lines but had since resumed.

"We are working with police to investigate the incident and are unable to speculate on the circumstances at this stage," she said.

Police, emergency services and Queensland Rail officers are all on site.

Meanwhile, two children and a bus driver were taken to hospital after a school bus crashed into a power pole in northern New South Wales.

The incident happened on Scenic Drive in South Tweed, on a bus operated by Surfside Buslines, which also operates on the Gold Coast.

Surfside chief operating officer Jim Perry said the accident "was due to the driver suffering a medical condition".

He said the children were treated at the scene but didn't need to be taken to hospital, but an Ambulance Service of New South Wales spokeswoman said both children and the driver, aged in his 60s, were taken to the Tweed Hospital with minor injuries.

"All other children on board proceeded to school on a replacement service," Mr Perry said.

"The driver was examined at the scene and then taken to hospital by the ambulance service."

Mr Perry said the company had started a "detailed investigation" and would work with relevant authorities.

He wasn't able to confirm reports the driver had "blacked out" before the crash.
