Police investigating a number of stolen cars wound up in a dramatic chase through Pine Rivers, north of Brisbane, on Sunday night.

A 20-year-old Burpengary man's been charged with dangerous driving and serious assault of police after the pursuit from Dayboro to Strathpine.
Police said officers went to a Dayboro property around 7.50pm to investigate the alleged theft of two cars from Deception Bay earlier on Sunday.
A car then sped towards police before driving away.
The police helicopter Polair2 tracked the vehicle as it headed towards Warner.
Police used stingers on Winn Road at Cashmere to deflate all four of the car's tyres, but it kept driving on its rims through Warner, Bray Park and Lawnton.
Officers finally intercepted it on the wrong side of Gympie Road at Strathpine.
Two men and a woman were arrested at the scene.
The 20-year-old man will face the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on Monday, charged with two counts of dangerous operation of a vehicle and one count each of failing to stop a motor vehicle, disqualified driving and serious assault of police.
An 18-year-old Dayboro man will face the same court on April 20 charged with assaulting police.
The 30-year-old woman from Kippa Ring is still being questioned.
Police also allege they found two vehicles at the Dayboro property believed to have been stolen.
