Mount Isa Rodeo Queen contestant for Neighbourhood Watch Whitney Dickson said it was an amazing night.
“I am just so thrilled with how the evening went,” she said.
“It was well attended and extremely well supported.
“The whole aim of the Midsummer Masquerade Ball was to celebrate the emergency service workers and volunteers of Mount Isa. “Most times when our emergency services come together it is in tragic circumstances, so I wanted us all to be able to sit back together, relax and just enjoy the evening.”
Ms Dickson said she knew the night was a success when guests made comments that they were expecting fairies to be flitting about.
