Police hope CCTV footage will hold the key to solving the brutal stabbing death of a man in a south west Brisbane industrial park early Thursday.

The 23-year-old suffered multiple stab wounds in the early morning attack and was unable to be revived by police officers called to the scene.
His killer remains on the run and a woman, believed to be the person who phoned emergency services in the wake of the stabbing, is assisting police with their investigation.
She is not a suspect, Detective Inspector Lew Strohfeldt said.
The man was attacked at a vacant lot in a Carole Park industrial estate about 3am.
Police unsuccessfully attempted CPR and he died at the scene.
The offender fled the scene in a second car.
Detective Inspector Strohfeldt said inquiries were ongoing as to why the trio were in the remote park at that time of the morning and how many others were there.
"There is no indication it is a regular meeting place," he said.
"There may be several people involved in the death of this young man."
Forensic testing has centred on the a car believed to be the victim's on Thursday morning and state emergency services volunteers are scouring nearby bushland for clues.
The murder weapon is yet to be recovered.
The dog squad has also been assisting with the search.
Despite the isolated location of the man's death, Detective Inspector Strohfeldt urged anyone who may have been in the area at the time to contact police.
"Any small bit of information may assist us," he said.
"I would describe this as brutal, or callous and it's one we need to solve."
He said the police examination of the scene was expected to conclude on Thursday.
Officers have door knocked businesses in the area to retrieve security footage that may assist with the investigation but Detective Inspector Strohfeldt urged any that police had yet to contact to call them.
"Any business that has CCTV footage, please contact us," he said.
"We really do need the public and business community to assist us if we could."
Detective Inspector Strohfeldt said he was confident the offender would be captured in time.
"It's early days and may take some time to get to the bottom of," he said.
"We have a large number of police working on this, It's something we can solve."
