STUDENTS at St Kieran’s Catholic Primary School dressed up as the Easter bunny to visit the Mount Isa Hospital’s paediatrics ward last week to spread a little Easter cheer.

St Kieran’s Catholic Primary School assistant principal Chrissy Sonego said this year’s Easter bunny students were part of the school’s Mini Vinnie’s program.
Mrs Sonego said Mini Vinnie’s was a charity and a group of students who volunteered time every term to do one activity of fundraising.
“This last week of term is coming into Easter – the idea of families being in hospitals struck a chord with the kids,” she said.
“They came in to share some Easter cheer that they feel strongly about.”
Jason Blank and his son Jasper Blank enjoyed a visit from St Kieran’s Catholic Primary School Easter bunny students Amy Kuhne, Shelby Holdsworth and Hannah Smith.
