A neighbour of a 50-year-old man allegedly stabbed to death in an apparent domestic-related murder has recalled hearing a woman's "blood-curdling" screams as the man died in front of her and his teenage son.

Max Podvorac, who lives three doors from the victim's house in rural Delaney's Creek, about 20 kilometres north west of Caboolture, said the small, tight-knit neighbourhood in Chappel Road was reeling from the man's death.
Mr Podvorac described the small business owner and father-of-two as "a very, very nice guy" and a "genuine sort of person".
He said shocked residents of the dead-end road, which is comprised mainly of small acreage properties, were struggling to come to terms with the violent event that had occurred in the sleepy area.
"I'm just devastated, we all are here. We're all just distraught," he said.
"There's only about six homes in the street and we all know each other. (The man) was a friend. I just can't come to terms with it yet."
The man was allegedly stabbed multiple times by Woodford man John Francis, 50, the former partner of the victim's new girlfriend, after Mr Francis rammed his ute through a wall of the victim's home about 7.30pm Monday.
Mr Francis faces 10 charges including murder, four counts of attempted murder, breach of a domestic violence order and attempted arson.
Mr Podvorac, a retiree, reported hearing a loud bang in the street about 7.30pm Monday before realising the full extent of the tragic events unfolding at his neighbour's home.
"The wife and I were watching TV and it sounded like kids playing, then it got a little bit louder and I heard this bang. I thought, 'I'd better go out and have a look' and I came outside and looked down the street and the woman was screaming, it was just like something out of a movie, that real blood-curdling screaming. It was just terrible, terrible," he said.
Mr Podvorac said the commotion drew a number of neighbours from their home and, despite their 000 calls, the man died on his front lawn.
He said it was believed the woman's nine-year-old son and the dead man's 17-year-old son were inside the house when Mr Francis allegedly rammed it in his ute.
He said the teenager witnessed his father's violent death outside the house.
"It was just mayhem, I went to speak to the eldest son and he was totally in shock, there was not a tear in his eye," Mr Podvorac said.
"I came over and gave him a hug and said, 'how bad is it?' and he just said, 'it's over'.
"He's 17 and just started uni. He's a smart, smart kid and him and his father were virtually inseparable."
Mr Podvorac said the victim had lived at the property for about a decade.
He said he and his wife separated about five years ago and their second son went to live with his mother in Roma, while the eldest remained with his father.
He said he had only recently commenced his new relationship with the woman at the centre of the incident.
"My wife and I went to New Zealand and when we came back a couple of weeks ago, she was on the scene," he said.
He said the man ran a business manufacturing raised garden beds from home.
Mr Francis, of Woodford, appeared in Caboolture Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning after being arrested by police at the scene on Monday night.
His lawyer indicated he would fight all charges.
He was remanded in custody to reappear on June 12.
Prior to the court appearance, Senior Sergeant Tony Green told reporters at the scene on Tuesday morning the incident was "domestic-related".
He would not confirm suggestions that three of the four who escaped unharmed were children.
"All persons from this address are known to each other," he said.
