A Bomber fan sent me a clip this week of Terry Daniher speaking at a dinner to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Essendon 1984-85 premiership teams. Daniher, the captain of those sides, is a character – a rural eccentric of the sort you meet in Ireland, only he came from a farm outside Ungarie in the Central West of NSW.
