The man in charge of integrity in Queensland's racing industry has been reinstated as the code continues to grapple with the greyhound live baiting scandal.

General manager integrity and stewarding Wade Birch was allowed to returned to work this week following an internal review.
He was the man in charge of integrity in all three racing codes when Four Corners aired footage showing widespread use of animals such as possums and piglets to train greyhounds.
Mr Birch was stood down in February, pending an internal review of the integrity department and its inspection procedures.
At the time, Queensland All Codes Racing Industry Board chairman Kevin Dixon said in the wake of evidence of live baiting within the greyhound industry, the integrity department's procedures needed to be addressed.
"Information that has to come to light in the past week suggests there are procedural issues within the integrity area of the business," he said.
"As Mr Birch is the officer responsible for that department, the board has taken the decision that it is appropriate to stand Mr Birch down while those shortcomings are further understood.
"There is no allegation of improper conduct on Mr Birch's part however in the board's view it was appropriate he be stood down until the review is completed.
"Racing Queensland will be making appropriate arrangements in the next day to cover the position, with the view to implementing the recommendations of that internal review."
In a statement released Tuesday evening, Racing Queensland says the review found "a number of the concerns relevant to greyhound racing within the department pre-dated the current management".
"Mr Birch had begun to undertake significant work to re-engineer these systems during his short time in the role of general manager of the department," the statement says.
The findings of the review have been provided to Alan MacSporran QC as part of Racing Queensland's submission to the current Commission of Inquiry, Racing Queensland says.
The Queensland government upgraded its review of the greyhound industry to a commission of inquiry earlier this month, giving increased powers to investigators.
The police and RSPCA joint greyhound racing inquiry task force has charged more than a dozen trainers over the scandal.
More than 30 trainers have been stood down.
Mr Dixon thanked Mr Birch and said he looked forward to working with him.
