Anzac Nurses Candlelight Vigil - 6pm, Friday 24 April, Anzac Square, Adelaide Street Brisbane
The Nurses Memorial Candlelight Vigil will commemorate the heroic service and sacrifice of Australian war nurses across the various wars and conflicts involving Australia. The service gives people the chance to lay wreaths at the statue of the nurse in Anzac Square, in memory of grandmothers, mothers and other war nurses. For more information head to Visit Brisbane.

Camp Gallipoli – Brisbane Showgrounds
At The Brisbane Showgrounds families, schools and community groups are invited to join in a special night of remembrance, entertainment, mateship and the birth of that special ANZAC spirit. The venue will have spaces set aside for camping using swags, just like the Diggers did. There will be entertainment, special guests, movies, documentaries, great food options and a very special Dawn Service on Anzac day itself. For more information visit Camp Gallipoli.

Brisbane Anzac Day Dawn Service - 4.28am, Saturday 25 April, Shrine of Remembrance, Anzac Square, Adelaide Street, Brisbane 
You can also watch the service on big screens located in and around Anzac Square, Post Office Square, King George Square and Queen Street Mall. Channel Nine will be telecasting the service live.

Brisbane Anzac Day Parade - from 9.30am-1pm, Saturday 25 April, Cultural Forecourt at South Bank to City 
Residents and visitors can view the parade of former and current serviceman and women which has been a feature of Brisbane's Anzac Day since the 1920s. This year's parade commemorates not just the ANZAC landings, but all those Australian service men and women who have defended Australia's way of life in all conflicts and military commitments. The best vantage points for the parade are along Adelaide Street, Brisbane. The parade begins at 9.30am at the Cultural Forecourt at South Bank and progresses to the Brisbane City streets.
