However, while the Dockers are clearly finding more avenues to goal than any other team this season, they have scored fewer points per game in the first four rounds than they did, on average, over the 2014 home and away season.
Fremantle scored an average of 92.23 points per game in 2014, compared to the 91 point average they have managed to start 2015.
Their attack is currently ranked only seventh, with West Coast and Hawthorn sharing top honours, those two teams scoring 13.25 points per game more than the Dockers.
What the new version of Fremantle does boast is having more players hitting the scoreboard regularly than any other side.
The Dockers have had eight players so far this season who have contributed four goals or more, better than any other side in the competition.
Matthew Pavlich leads Fremantle's scoring with nine goals, while five players - Matt Taberner, Michael Walters, Chris Mayne, Stephen Hill and Nat Fyfe have each booted five.
Four clubs, GWS, West Coast, Richmond and North Melbourne, have each had six players contribute four or more goals in the first four rounds of this season; the Gold Coast and St Kilda just three each.
And this newfound desire for the Dockers midfield to run forward has not come at a cost to their defence.
They are ranked number two, behind only Sydney in this area, and have been more miserly in the first four rounds of 2015 than they were in 2014.
The Dockers have conceded on average 67.25 points per game this season – remembering also that they have played against quality opposition in Port Adelaide, West Coast (who has the number 1 attack in 2015), Geelong and Sydney.
In 2014 they gave away an average of 70.73 points per season.
