Mr Kljaic was believed to be spotted driving a brand new 23 and a 1/2 tonne Hyundai excavator on a property in Born Street, Healy Heights - the subdivision where MKM Homes failed to build or finish homes.
MKM went into liquidation last year, leaving several Mount Isans homeless and out of pocket.
Several contractors in Mount Isa who were still owed thousands of dollars by Michael Kljaic said he had also been operating in Warwick under H.I.C. International, a claim Mr Kljaic denied in his last interview with The North West Star in May this year.
However a licence search of both companies showed they are both registered at the same business address in Scarborough Street, Southport.
Some of his creditors believed H.I.C. was about to build some of the new houses in the new estate in Powerhouse Road in Cloncurry.
Mr Kljaic said in May that he had lost all his life savings and his $7 million home, Ferrari and assets worth $40 million, however his business creditors said they believed he had money in Hong Kong and China.
