A car rollover outside Queensland's Parliament House has caused "nightmare" traffic conditions throughout Brisbane's CBD.

Australian Traffic Network traffic reporter Dave Andrews said there were delays throughout the city as motorists struggled to get on to the Pacific Motorway.
He said blockages along Ann Street were extending back to Fortitude Valley.
"Hopefully it will be cleared by five," he said.
"It looks very ugly."

Parliamentary security staff were among the first on scene when the car and a white ute collided at the Alice Street on ramp to the Pacific Motorway just after 2.20pm.
One staffer said a "heroic" motorcyclist pulled the 25-year-old female driver from her car before riding off.
Emergency services had cleared the crash by 3.20pm but there were still lengthy delays at 3.45pm.
Paramedics took the 25-year-old to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment to minor head injuries.
The ute driver was assessed at the scene but was uninjured.

A car has flipped onto its roof outside Queensland's Parliament House, leaving a 25-year-old woman with head injuries.

The impact of the crash caused the car to roll.
The on ramp remains closed as emergency services work to clear the scene and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
The 25-year-old driver received a minor head injury and is expected to be transported to hospital by paramedics.
Queensland Ambulance Service said the two drivers were alert and breathing when paramedics arrived.
The driver of the ute was assessed at the scene.
The 25-year-old is expected to be taken to hospital for treatment.
Alice Street is closed at George Street.
Traffic diversions are in place.
Translink has advised two bus stops in William Street are temporarily unavailable.
