A cyclist is in a critical condition in intensive care after a a pre-dawn collision with a truck in Brisbane's east on Monday morning.

The 30-year-old man suffered head injuries and is currently in a critical but stable condition at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, a spokeswoman confirmed.
The rider was cycling on Wynnum Road in Morningside when the collision occurred about 5.20am near the intersection of Junction Road, police said.
Police said the truck driver was uninjured.
The forensic crash unit will investigate the incident.
Emergency services initially said the rider was 18, but provided updated information that said he was 30 years old.
Meanwhile, a 13-year-old boy suffered minor injuries when he was struck by a car at Ward Street in Indooroopilly just after 8am on Monday.
