Ross Lyon says that lack of effort has not been to blame for any second-half fade outs Fremantle has suffered this season.

Any fall-away after half-time was more to do with the Dockers use of the ball rather than their ability to get it, Lyon said.
Fremantle was well in front against West Coast, Sydney and Essendon in the first half and won by much less than their early margins.
Mind you, they are still sitting two games clear on top of the ladder, unbeaten, after six rounds.
"I can guarantee you, we've got all the data. We ran as hard in the first quarter as we did in the last quarter and actually our performance on running was our strongest and most consistent for the six rounds because we can plot the six, every quarter and metres-per-minute," Lyon said.
"It's certainly wasn't to do with that. It's certainly to do with some ball use, some poor kick-ins and some poor decisions without the ball that's just opened us a little bit.
"And specifically we've won three quarters of last quarters and we had 12 shots against Melbourne and Geelong. So there's certainly been Sydney the third quarter, West Coast the last quarter I think when we were 70 points up or something and last week's last quarter.
"But we know - and I've shared that with the players - there's a lot of noise here, but here's the facts, you're running really well. It's a non issue for us."
While Fremantle looked set to include Luke McPharlin for Sunday's clash with the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium, the defender has been withdrawn from the side due to calf soreness.
McPharlin missed the round six win against Essendon, but seemed to be running well at training on Friday – and looked set for a return.
Fremantle debuted Alex Pearce in the Bombers game and the young key defender held his own and will be given another opportunity against the Bulldogs – whose forward line boasts Tom Boyd, Jake Stringer and Stewart Crameri.
Lyon said that having depth was what it took to win a premiership, not just a preferred starting 22.
"[Injuries] will come. As night follows day, they will come," Lyon said.
"It is good we've got some of the calibre of [Tom] Sheridan, Tendai [Mzungai], [Hayden] Crozier, Connor Blakely, just to name a couple, of the running type players.
"That's really important; there's no doubt about it. Premierships and great campaigns are won by about 30, 32 players - bona fides. You can't get it done with 22."
